Mitt Romney took a big leap towards victory in U.S.

Mitt Romney took a big leap forward towards victory in the appointment of U.S. Republican presidential with a clean sweep of three primary colors, which on Tuesday issued a stinging defeat to rival chief Rick Santorum.

The victories in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, DC will increase calls for Republican Party leaders to leave so that Santorum Romney can gird for a tough fight against President Barack Obama in the election of November 6.

In his victory speech in Milwaukee, Romney ignored Santorum and gave voters an idea of ??what the general election

campaign will be like, sharply criticizing Obama for his handling of the U.S. economy and high gas prices.

“It’s enough to make you believe that years of flying around on Air Force One, surrounded by a staff of true believers who worship tell you what a great job you do, well, that might be enough you do a little touch, “Romney said.

In a clear sign that Obama sees Romney as his main obstacle to the re-election, the president distinguished himself by name and criticized him in a speech with a sharp partisan tone Tuesday.

The trio of defeats puts conservative Santorum campaign in serious trouble. It is badly trailing Romney in both delegates and fundraising.

“I think it’s lights out for Santorum,” said Ron Bonjean Republican strategist. “He can not campaign for the sideshow in the coming months, but the spotlight is shining on Romney.”

Santorum, a former senator, has promised to stay in the race until at least April 24, when his home state of Pennsylvania to vote and where it is attached to a lead in the polls over Romney.

KNOCKOUT PENNSYLVANIA?

This date is set to be a potentially decisive, with chances to win five states holding contests and planning, then a big challenge for Santorum in Pennsylvania Romney.

Tuesday’s victories extended lead over Santorum Romney in delegates to an estimated 640 to 264, according to CNN. Romney now has more than half of the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the nomination at the Republican convention in August

Santorum wants to win enough delegates to deny his opponent a victory outright before the convention in Tampa.

“Who is ready to load on the locker room in Pennsylvania for a good second half?” Santorum said to applause in a speech after the result of Tuesday. ”It’s not part time. We go to the field. The clock starts tonight.”

“We do not win by moving to the middle. We win by getting people in the community to move forward for us and our country,” said Santorum.

A survey showed Quinnipiac University Santorum in Pennsylvania ahead of Romney 41 to 35 percent, but the campaign’s Executive Fairness old mansion and its allies are likely to spend much money on negative ads against Santorum in the coming weeks.

Obama hit out at Romney on Tuesday for saving a controversial Republican budget plan drafted by a key backer of Romney Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan.

“He said he strongly supports the new budget and even called it” wonderful “, which is a word you do not often hear when it comes to describe a budget,” Obama said in a speech.

Romney countered that Obama was trying to shift the blame for high gas prices that hit hard and U.S. portfolios could be Obama’s re-election more difficult to achieve.

“So the president has made an announcement yesterday, talking about gas prices and how high they are. And guess who he blamed? Me!” Romney said in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
