Muammar Gaddafi said on Wednesday that his withdrawal from his Bab al-Aziziya headquarters was a “tactical move” after the compound was leveled by 64 NATO air strikes.
Meanwhile, the rebels seized Gaddafi’s compound in Tripoli on Tuesday after a fierce battle with loyalist forces.
On the othe hand, Libyan UN envoy Ibrahim Dabbashi said the compound was fully in the hands of opposition fighters, and that the country would be liberated within 72 hours.
